At its heart, Almost follows Catherine, a thirty-something woman who begins confiding in a digital companion named Henri, and discovers that emotional intimacy can take the most unexpected forms.

About the creator
Carolyne Migneault is a Montreal-based writer with a slightly unhealthy obsession with dark humor, messy love stories, and characters who talk to their plants.
After studying screenwriting at UQAM, she spent fifteen years navigating the banking world, a place that couldn’t have been further from her creative instincts, yet quietly shaped her stories of rebellion and tenderness.
Today, she works in early childhood education, surrounded by laughter, imagination, and tiny philosophers who remind her daily of the beauty in small things.
